Justus combines Operations Research and software development with a Ph.D. from the University of Hamburg. His work spans warehouse optimization, rail energy management, Hajj planning systems, and educational software. He develops mathematical models and software applications and leads projects from analysis to implementation.

Matthes Koch, Ph.D.

Matthes Koch, Ph.D.

Matthes specializes in optimization, simulation, and data modeling. He studied in Dresden and Hamburg and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Hamburg. His projects include pilgrim-flow planning for the Hajj, brewery production planning, location analysis, and public-transport scheduling. He translates research methods into software for industrial and governmental clients.
